6 months after my first Dry January starter round of Prolon, midsummer seemed the right time to get back on track with the 5 day reset. It was so much easier second time round, mainly down to knowing what to expect, and managing the timing better. Also having the small watered down coffee each morning - yes, it is allowed - meant I didn’t get the horrendous day 2 caffeine withdrawal headache this time which made it a much pleasanter experience. Day 3 is a killer, with the least food but by day 4 it’s plain sailing. My energy levels were off the scale by day 5! You’re left feeling completely rejuvenated, eyes are sparkling and you really are set up feeling that all you want to eat is the good stuff to maintain the sense of well-being, and the temptation to reach for that glass of wine to decompress in the evening has completely vanished. It’s a little miracle and I’ll definitely be going in for round 3 later on in the year. It is expensive so I’ll keep my eyes open for the special offers that pop up on @prolonuk.
